Sarah - Supervisor (Level 3, SENCo, First Aider)

Sarah has worked at CHUF for over 13 years and both her children attended CHUF in the past. Sarah started working with us as a Preschool assistant and then became Supervisor in the Haddenham setting. Sarah is our SENCo and has a great understanding of SEN and is wonderful with the children. 

Sarah is passionate about CHUF and really enjoys the termly planning, thinking of fun activities for the children in order for them to work towards their next steps.  Sarah is kind and gentle with all the children and has a heart of gold, putting others needs first. She spends a lot of time working out of hours and goes above and beyond to make sure that CHUF is the most amazing setting for the children to learn, grow and have lots of fun

Fiona - Deputy Supervisor (Level 3, First Aider)

Fiona has worked at CHUF for 10 years and has two children, one of whom attended CHUF.  She became Deputy Supervisor last year and helps to support Sarah.  Fiona is softly spoken and her kind and gentle manner always puts children at ease. Fiona is calm and reassuring and has a special talent for settling in our two-year-olds. She is really creative at circle time, always thinking of exciting activities for the children to try. Fiona is very patient and spends lots of her time at CHUF working one to one with children or leading small group activities.

Sara - Pre-School Assistant (Level 3, First Aider)

Sara has worked at CHUF for over 10 years and her daughter also attended CHUF.  Sara understands SEN and has an interest in Autism and ADHD.  She is also trained in Makaton sign language and enjoys teaching the children new signs and songs using Makaton.  Sara is kind and caring and enjoys working with the children, helping them grow and be ready for school.  She is patient, softly spoken and creates real bonds with the children. Sara has a love of crafting and brings this into the setting, enjoying sharing her ideas and skills with the children.

Catherine - Pre-School Assistant (Studying for Level 3, First Aider)

Catherine has been working at CHUF for several years now and brings energy and enthusiasm.  She is currently working towards her Level 3.   Catherine has a  six year-old son so has plenty of hands on experience with young children and this is evident from the fun and active way she plays with the children knowing just how to extend and inspire their learning. Catherine also supports one of our SEN children on a 1:1 basis. 

Carly - Pre-School Assistant (First Aider)

Carly joined us 2 years ago and fitted in straight away.  She previously ran Cha Cha Chimps groups so came with lots of experience at entertaining pre-schoolers.  She has a dance background which is great for teaching the children some dance moves.  Carly has a bubbly personality with lots of energy and is good fun with the children.   Carly is a busy mum herself with 2 children at local schools.

Lois – Pre-School Assistant (First Aider)

Lois joined CHUF just over a year ago and has settled in well.  She has a quiet and calm manner and enjoys reading stories to the children in the book corner.  She also enjoys being outside with the children and supporting them in their outside play and learning. Lois helps run our Breakfast Club so is a welcome face to our early arrivals. She is mum to 2 older girls so has hands on experience of guiding children through their education. 

Lynne – One to One (First Aider)

Lynne joined us a year ago to be one to one support for one of our SEN children.  She is amazing with the children and is calm and patient and does a super job of bringing out the best in the children to give them the best start when they start school and works closely with parents.  Lynne enjoys outside play with the children and is a keen gardener so helps the children to plant and grow flowers and vegetable.  Lynne is mum to 3 children.

Jess – Apprentice (Working towards her Level 2, First Aider)

Jess joined us last year as an Apprentice and is working towards her Level 2.  She brings with her energy and enthusiasm for learning and giving the children a great experience in a safe environment.  Jess is keen to learn all aspects of working with the children and is doing a great job.
